How Treatment is Administered
Spravato is self-administered as a nasal spray at our certified REMS center under clinical supervision. The treatment session lasts approximately two hours, during which you relax in a calm environment while being monitored for safety and comfort.
Professional Guidance
Our team ensures a safe, therapeutic experience from start to finish. Because of the unique nature of the medication, patients must be observed for at least two hours after each dose and must arrange for transportation home.
Understanding Spravato® (Esketamine)
Spravato is an FDA-approved nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression and MDD with suicidal ideation. It works differently from traditional antidepressants, targeting the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor to help restore synaptic connections in brain cells.

Safety & Impact
SPRAVATO® is not for use as a standalone medicine to prevent suicide or reduce suicidal thoughts. It must be administered under the direct supervision of a healthcare provider in a certified treatment center after clinical evaluation. Rapid symptom reduction can provide a vital bridge to long-term stability.

Reassuring Observation
We observe you for at least two hours following treatment. You will need a companion to drive you home safely afterwards.
